Mrs. Hueter

My name is Courtney Hueter. I am beginning my 18th year of teaching. I am so excited to be a part of the Normal Park family this year. It is such a wonderful place that holds a special place in my heart. I am from Lynnville, TN, but am so glad to now call Chattanooga my home.

Prior to joining the Normal Park family, I taught in Hamilton County schools for two years, kindergarten and first grade in New Orleans for four years, and also at a K-12 school in Eagleville, Tennessee. While there, I taught kindergarten for three years, and also served as the Title I Reading and Math Teacher serving grades kindergarten through fourth grade. I received my Master's degree in Education from Cumberland University and my B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Freed-Hardeman University, graduating cum laude.

I am married to my husband of 13 years, Jared. We have a 9 year old son, Jonas, 8 year old daughter, Caroline, 5 year old son, Charlie, and 2 year old daughter Jane. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, our Labrador, Bear, scrapbooking, reading, hiking, biking, and camping.

Third grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. This is a year of important transitions, as well as one in which acquisition of new skills is accelerated. I hope to make your child's learning experience a fun and exciting one, and I hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child's years of schooling.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns! I am looking forward to a great year!
