Welcome to Mrs. Parsons' 2nd grade Class!
I am so excited to start my 6th year here at Normal Park! My students are like family and I am so excited to welcome a new class this year! I can't wait to get to know my students and their families! We will work hard in 2nd grade, but we will have lots of fun along the way!
I grew up in a little mountain town in North Georgia and moved to Chattanooga to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I have a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from UTC with a focus in Archaeology and Prehistory. I have a dual Masters degree from UTC in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3rd) and Special Education.
I live in the Normal Park zone with my family. I have a daughter in 11th grade at Notre Dame High School and twin boys in 7th grade at Normal Park. We have two dogs, Frankie and Gus, and two cats, Smalls and Tater. We spend most of our time on the basketball courts, baseball fields, pool decks, or enjoying the outdoors! I love sports, so please invite me to watch you play this year!
