Language Arts - Ms. Erickson

Welcome to 7th Grade ELA! This class will explore many stories that will take you from home to outer space and back again. Have you ever wondered what one generation can learn from another, or what causes a sudden change in a person's life? Do you question if we can build a home in space? Are you curious about what effects people have on the environment? Over the course of this year, we will explore these questions and more!

I moved to Chattanooga and started my teaching career three years ago. I have a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College and a master's degree from Lipscomb University. I am originally from the Hudson Valley in New York, and I moved to Chattanooga to be close to family and for the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, climbing, cooking, and traveling (most recently to Salt Lake City, Utah, and Arches National Park).
