Welcome to PE with Coach G!
Hi, my name is Jimmy Gaines and I am so excited to be teaching the amazing students at Normal Park. This is my fourth year teaching Physical Education. I grew up in Nashville, TN and moved to Chattanooga to attend college. I hold a bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health from UTC.
I have worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at the YMCA. I have also coached several sports including volleyball, soccer, and baseball. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my wife, Kelsey, and relaxing with our three cats.
My goal is to teach every student how to live a healthy and happy life so that they can achieve their full potential.
