Welcome to 7th Grade Math! I am so excited for this year. In 7th grade, we will work together to learn about ratios and proportions, the number system, expressions and equations, geometry, and statistics and probability. I am very passionate about middle school math - we use more of it in our daily lives than you might think! We're going to have a wonderful year together.
This is my 5th year teaching. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Georgia Tech. I moved to Chattanooga last summer to be close to family. I am originally from East Tennessee, but moved to Georgia as a child and taught for three years in Eastern Kentucky after college. Tennessee has always been my home, and I'm glad I made the decision to come back! Some of my favorite things to do outside of the classroom are gardening, thrifting, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with friends and family. I also bought a house last spring, and have slowly been working to renovate it!
